Performance

      RiFlex is intended for big text collections and is able to index several gigabytes of text files. Average indexing speed on Athlon 1.4 GHz 256 Mb RAM computer is 10-15 Mb/min. Tests were performed on 1.5 Gb of text (160000 files). Searching speed depends on number of hits and is equal to 1-2 seconds for 5000-10000 hits. Queries with larger number of hits (20000-50000) may require quite long time. Try to increase $windblock parameter to reduce searching time.
